Camp Schedule

The morning is given to personal devotions, two 45 minute classes, and an hour chapel service. The teachers and chapel speakers communicate the Word of God on the level of the campers. The beginner camp schedule is a little different because of their younger ages. All the camps spend the afternoon with recreation activities and clean up. The activities vary a little for each camp. Swimming is included for all the camps, if possible. There is no pool at the camp itself. We use vans, a bus, or cars to transport the campers to a private, rented pool in Roberta. The older camps sometimes include skeet shooting, target practice, or archery. These target activities are only possible with help from the state warden program of instruction and guidance. Groups of campers play group games at the camp while other groups are at the pool. The campers are divided into 2 or 4 groups to allow for competition. Older teens and young adults work with and interact with the campers. A good team spirit is encouraged and everyone has a good time. The evening chapel service is enjoyed by everyone, also. A sweet spirit of worship in music is enjoyed as well as in God’s Word. After chapel and free time, the campers retire to their dormitories for bedtime, after brief devotions with their counselors. A week of the influence of God’s Word changes lives for eternity.
